Lora Grasso has been working in the Fashion industry since 2007, starting school in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2006.
Her first internship was with the wardrobe team at the Rachael Ray Show where she dabbled in shopping for Ms. Ray and making sure she always looked camera ready for tapings and Everyday With Rachael Ray magazine photoshoots.
From there she went on to intern in multiple aspects of the industry - trade shows, runway shows, advertising and PR, and even helped one company open their first store in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.
Finally, she became the first assistant to fashion and celebrity stylist Lauri Eisenberg. There she learned the ins and outs of styling for commercial & advertising campaigns, editorial shoots for high end publications like Vogue Latin America and Elle Mexico. Pulling samples, managing interns, and assisting on photoshoots were just some of her roles.
Lauri introduced Lora to the e-Commerce styling circuit in 2010. She began assisting many talented stylists at Saks 5th Avenue, Lord & Taylor, and Bloomingdale’s just to name a few. She mastered the art of styling men, women (plus, standard, and maternity), children, mannequins and pinups.
Lora eventually made it back home to Philadelphia where she still works on creative and e-Commerce photoshoots for URBN, most notably Anthropologie.
